Skinless Pork Sausages

Make your own sausages at home with this easy skinless pork sausage recipe. Add any flavours you wish to make it your own way, the kids could even choose.

  • 500g pork mince
  • 1 onion
  • 1 pear
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs, depending on how ‘wet’ the mixture is-it needs to hold shape
  1. Roughly blend the (cored) pear and (peeled) onion in a blender, put in a bowl with all the other ingredients and mix well.
  2. Roll the mince into sausage shapes and using kebab skewers cut to a length about 10cm, stick through the middle lengthways to help it hold its shape.
  3. Grill the sausages, turning gently. Preferable to frying in the pan, bit too rough.
Gluten-Free suggestion: Substitute Rice Crumbs for the breadcrumbs.
