Make your own sausages at home with this easy skinless pork sausage recipe. Add any flavours you wish to make it your own way, the kids could even choose.
- 500g pork mince
- 1 onion
- 1 pear
- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs, depending on how ‘wet’ the mixture is-it needs to hold shape
- Roughly blend the (cored) pear and (peeled) onion in a blender, put in a bowl with all the other ingredients and mix well.
- Roll the mince into sausage shapes and using kebab skewers cut to a length about 10cm, stick through the middle lengthways to help it hold its shape.
- Grill the sausages, turning gently. Preferable to frying in the pan, bit too rough.
